Boya Women Support Group

Land rights Advocacy to Western ethnic minority community women

BWSG focuses on advocating for effective implementation of Constitutional provisions for secure and to enable women land rights.

BWSG works closely with local leaders, legal experts, and grassroots organizations to raise awareness among Western ethnic minority community women about their constitutional rights to own, inherit, and control land. Through community forums, legal literacy workshops, and targeted outreach, BWSG empowers women with the knowledge and confidence to claim their rights. By demystifying land laws and property registration procedures, the organization helps bridge the gap between legal provisions and actual access to land for marginalized women.

In addition, BWSG supports women in resolving land-related disputes by providing legal aid, mediation services, and referrals to justice institutions. The organization also advocates at county and national levels for reforms that remove cultural and administrative barriers that hinder women's land ownership. By documenting cases and amplifying women's voices in policy dialogues, BWSG contributes to a more inclusive and equitable land governance system that recognizes and protects the rights of minority women.
